COPYWRITING

I work with festivals, PR agencies and design studios to produce a variety of written content, including scripts for videos and podcasts, features, blog posts and web content.

COPYEDITING

I work with publishers, literary consultancies and authors to edit manuscripts ranging from fiction to white papers. I’m thoughtful, thorough, and always happy to talk through any complex feedback in a supportive and constructive way.

DEVELOPMENTAL EDITING

My background in scriptwriting for film, theatre and radio has given me a particular skillset that means I’m adept at exploring the structure and development of your story, identifying any possible issues and addressing them in clear, friendly and accessible ways. If you have a manuscript that isn’t quite working and you’re unsure why, or if you’ve written your first script or novel and you need to check that your first draft makes structural sense before you move on to edits, I’m happy to help. I love structure. I could talk about it all day. But I won’t.

PROOFREADING

I am a meticulous proofreader, and I proofread documents in both British and US English. I can often work to narrow deadlines, so if you are in need of a fresh pair of eyes to check your document for errors, contact me below and I’ll do my best to accommodate you.

I also offer a sensitivity reading service on a project by project basis; if I don’t think I am the right sensitivity reader for your project, I’ll do my best to refer you to someone who might be a better fit.
